What is the Student Academic Success Program?
The Student Academic Success Program will help you become a motivated, self-directed, and successful learner who will achieve good academic standing. Students often enroll to receive additional advising and related services.
Do I have to participate in the Student Academic Success Program?
If you are on Academic Probation, yes, you must participate in every aspect of the Academic Success Program.
Is my participation in the Student Academic Success Program confidential?
Yes, your participation in the program is confidential. CAAAL will not explain to anyone why you are participating in the program.
What exactly will I do in the Student Academic Success Program?
All Student Academic Success Program participants will
- attend a mandatory academic success workshop.
- work closely with an academic advisor who will help you to formulate plans that lead to your academic success
- visit the Center for Academic Development and Assessment for learning and study-skills support.
- receive evaluations from professors to help you and your academic advisor assess your academic progress
