Barbara Berke Ellicott

Barbara Berke Ellicot '67 MA is a  licensed speech language pathologist, New Jersey certified speech specialist, learning consultant and school psychologist. She has worked in public schools, hospitals, clinics and nursing homes; taught as adjunct at Montclair State in the Speech and Psychology departments, as well as at the College of St. Elizabeth. Ellicot has been in  private practice in Morristown, N.J. for three years and in Madison, N.J. for nine years. where she currently works.

Ellicot has has more than 35 articles published in the Advance for Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists and  Advance for Physical Therapists.

Additionally, Ellicot has had two books published: Discovered Secrets: A Self-Metamorphosis and No Time for Depression due out in September.

She has also written a vegan cookbook and serves as a national public speaker on the topic of how a plant-based diet can prevent and/or reverse conditions/diseases at any age. Ellicot also is an Ambassador for Healthy Hearts for the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Ellicot is a marathon runner and triathlete, a First Degree Brown Belt in Isshynrhu Karate (next to black), an American Red Cross Water-Safety Instructor and teaches swimming.
