Homecoming '06
Despite another
wet and chilly day, Homecoming 2006, which took place on
September 30, was a success. Alumni, friends and family enjoyed
the festivities, including the Student Activities-sponsored
carnival and BBQ; the "Hooray for Rockywood" parade in the
Amphitheater (photo below) and an exciting football game at
Sprague Field. Montclair State posted a 27-7 Homecoming victory
over The College of New Jersey in the 74th renewal of the oldest
active collegiate football rivalry in New Jersey.
