The relationship with our students doesn't end at graduationDear Alumni and Friends, Greetings from the Department of Art & Design! It's been an extraordinary time in our department with so much happening expanded programs, new concentrations, new facilities, a thriving MFA program. And the school's new George Segal Gallery is just the icing on the cake. We thank you - our alumni - for all you do to help us further our mission and hope you will continue to consider the many ways alumni can give of their time, talents or treasures, which some of you have already done by creating scholarships for our students. As MSU alumni, you are not only welcome on our campus, but are also valued members of our family. We hope that you will visit often, and, even as you continue in your career, that you will consider MSU a part of your extended home, too. In addition to our gallery and lecture events, MSU 's Arts & Cultural Programming unit offers a season of performing arts events that bring a unique, experimental dimension to our offerings. Present your alumni ID card (obtainable from MSU's Alumni Relations) and receive a 20% discount off the ticket price. The card offers additional benefits, including alumni consumer discounts, career support, networking opportunities, and admission to special events. Of course when you visit, be sure to stop at the George Segal Gallery as well as say hello in the Department of Art & Design. With Best wishes, Scott Gordley, Department Chair
Giving to the Department of Art & DesignCreating an Art & Design Scholarship Some of our students are only able to attend the university with the aid of scholarships . One of the most meaningful gifts you can give is the opportunity to share the wonderful experience you had as an MSU student by providing tuition assistance to another student. If you would be interested in donating to an existing scholarship fund or would like to create one of your own, please call the MSU Development Office at 973-655-7298 or visit the School of the Arts Giving Opportunities page for information on creating scholarships. |
