The MSU Chorale will perform the Verdi Requiem in January 2010 with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Neeme Järvi. This work, operatic in its expressive intensity, is an unforgettable concert experience. In both intimate solo passages and towering choral settings, Verdi’s melodic gifts are unsurpassed. The MSU Chorale, under the direction of Heather J. Buchanan, is continuing its successful association with the NJ Symphony Orchestra that includes a dramatic performance in 2009 of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
