Ben La Rocco: Artist, editor and writer.
Ben La Rocco is a painter living and working in New York. He also works as managing arts editor and a contributing writer at the Brooklyn Rail. Recently, he has been a visiting critic at Rutgers University, a lecturer at Karen Marston's Muse Fuse and a curator of "A Roller Coaster in the Dark" at Janet Kurnatowski Gallery. La Rocco’s recent exhibitions include "Shape Shifters: New York Painters" at Sideshow Gallery and "The 183rd Invitational Exhibition of American Art" at the National Academy of Design Museum. His lecture will deal with his current paintings and thoughts on the contemporary art world.
