Alumni Green on campus
The relationship with our students doesn't end at graduation.
Hello from the Department of Broadcasting!
It's been an extraordinary time in our department, with so much happening and lots to feel good about (check out our newsletters!) It seems like only yesterday that we celebrated our department's 30 th Anniversary in the new Alexander Kasser Theater. The Kasser is but one of seven production spaces on campus including our own state-of-the-art DuMont Television Center.

As MSU alumni, you are not only welcome on our campus, but also valued members of our family. We hope that you will visit often, and, even as you continue in your career, that you will consider MSU a part of your extended family, too. (When you can't visit, remember we can still connect through, Carpe Diem, which airs regularly on local and regional cable stations.) In addition to our department productions , CART's Arts & Cultural Programming offers a season of performing arts events that bring a unique, experimental dimension to MSU. Present your alumnus card ID card (obtainable from MSU's Alumni Relations) and receive a 20% discount off the ticket price. The card offers additional benefits, including alumni consumer discounts, career support, networking opportunities, and admission to special events.
Alumni are making names for themselves! Take a look at our Spotlight on Alums section to see what a few of your colleagues have been up to. We'd like to know your story too so please complete our Survey/Mailing List Form [we're creating this form] so we can stay in touch and learn what you are doing.
We thank our alumni for all they do to help us further our department mission, mentoring our students, opening doors, and of course providing financial support. There are many opportunities to give of your time and talents, or as some of you have, to create scholarships for our students.
As alumni of the Department of Broadcasting, you make us proud in many ways. We wish you, Carpe Diem, and continued success.
Larry Londino, Department Chair
Some of our students are only able to attend the university with the aid of scholarships. The Department of Broadcasting welcomes gifts of all shapes and sizes and one of the most meaningful gifts you can give is the opportunity to share the wonderful experience you had as an MSU student by providing tuition assistance to another student. If you would be interested in donating to an existing scholarship fund or would like to create one of your own, please call the MSU Development Office at 973-655-7298 or visit the School of the Arts Giving Opportunities page for information on creating scholarships.
Following is a partial list of scholarships established through the generosity of MSU faculty, friends and alums.
