Inside MSU is a weekly cable news show, produced by students in the Broadcasting Department's Electronic Journalism class. The show features topics relevant to university campus life; airs for 10 weeks each semester; and is broadcast live on Thursdays with re-broadcasts throughout the week. Students have opportunity to research, produce, shoot and edit news segments for each show. The fifteen minute program also allows for experience in directing, anchoring, and crew positions necessary to produce a news show. Several shows each semester are critiqued by WCBS news director Dianne Doctor.
