Mission
The mission of the George Segal Gallery is to propagate culture and art through interpretive contemporary art exhibitions and presentation of related events using its collection, as well as local, statewide and international sources.
The Gallery’s vision is to become a premiere destination for modern and contemporary art.
The George Segal Gallery serves as a testament to Montclair State University’s commitment to be a major center for the visual arts, and share its rich array of intellectual and cultural resources with the people of New Jersey. We seek to increase art education and art exposure for area students as well as a wide audience of all ages from our surrounding communities.
