Giving Opportunities

College of the Arts Board

The College of the Arts Board serves as the college’s chief volunteer organization, providing human and financial resources necessary to promote and achieve the vision of The College of the Arts.

Activities include:

  • Functioning as an advocacy group for the college and University.
  • Helping to strengthen relationships with local communities.
  • Providing leadership in raising funds .
  • Assisting in external / public relations and devising communications strategies.
  • Helping the dean develop internships and placement opportunities for students.
  • Helping to create, recruit, and manage support groups.
  • Assisting in planning and implementing events.
  • Dealing with other issues as requested by the dean.

The full board meets twice a year. Committees include the Nominating Committee, Community Affairs Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Fund Raising Committee. Others are formed as needs arise.
