VOLLEYBALL, FIELD HOCKEY TO JOIN IN FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER
The Montclair State volleyball and field hockey teams will each take part in raising awareness and funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Fund. The volleyball team will take part in "Dig for the Cure" at its final home match of the season on Tuesday, October 14 at the MSU Student Recreation Center. Meanwhile, the field hockey team will hold its awareness day on Saturday, November 1 when it takes on Cortland at Sprague Field..
MONTCLAIR STATE ANNOUNCES 2008 HALL OF FAME CLASS
Montclair , NJ (11/25/07) – The Montclair State Department of Athletics will add three new members into its Hall of Fame. The inductees will be honored on Thursday, October 23 at the Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ. Tracey Brown, the second-leading scorer in Montclair State basketball history - men or women, soccer standout and current assist coach Marlon Pollard and All-American softball catcher Jerrilyn Acevedo will be the 36th class to be inducted bringing the total number of of members to 189. Also to be honored are the 12 members of the Century Club for coaches who have achieved 100 or more career victories. For information on the banquet, contact 973-655-6804. |
