FERRANTI NAMED CAANJ OUTSTANDING FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR

Montclair, NJ (9/22/08) – SeniorJackie Ferranti (right) earned just about every honor imaginable for he incredible 2008 campaign. She will have to make room for one more as the NJAC Female Athlete of the Year was chosen as the Outstanding Student-Athlete for 2007-08 by the College Athletic Administrators of New Jersey (CAANJ). Ferranti becomes the third MSU athlete to be honored in the last four years.

FERRANTI NAMED NJAC FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR

Princeton, NJ (6/2/08) – SeniorJackie Ferranti (right) added one final honor to her incredible 2008 campaign as the senior was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Female Athlete of the Year. Ferranti becomes the seventh Montclair State athlete to earn one of the conference's highest honor and the first female to be selected since Tara Wisz in 1999. It is also the third straight year that a Red Hawk student-athlete has be awarded Athlete of the Year honors.
