| 2008 SEASON: Named ECAC Division III Metro Rookie of the Year… Chosen NJAC Rookie of the Year… Selected to NJAC and ECAC Division III Metro All-Star Teams… Named NJAC Rookie of the Week for April 28…Ended the season on a 13-game hitting streak (April 22 – May 9)… Ranked third in the NJAC in batting average and 12 th in on-base percentage… Was 3-for-3 with a run scored versus Smith College in a 5-0 win at the Rebel Spring Games in Florida on March 19… Was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI versus Polytechnic at the Rebel Spring Games on March 20… Went 4-for-6 with two runs scored and an RBI in a twinbill sweep of Hunter on April 3… Drove in a run in each game of a doubleheader sweep of New Jersey City on April 15… Was 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and RBI in an 8-2 win over Manhattanville on April 20… Was 5-for-6 with two RBI as MSU claimed the NJAC regular-season title with a sweep of William Paterson on April 22… Went 4-for-6 with a double and three RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Rowan on April 26… Was 1-for-4 with an RBI as MSU claimed the NJAC Championship with a 6-1 win over The College of New jersey on May 4… Scored two runs in MSU’s 6-2 win over Springfield College in the NCAA Plattsburgh Regional on May 9… Went 3-for-4 versus Eastern Connecticut in the NCAA Plattsburgh Regional Tournament on May 9. |
