2007-08 SEASON: Appeared and started all 30 games…Named All-NJAC Second Team… Became the fifth player in MSU history to record 1,000 career rebounds… Named to the Met Writers Honor Roll for February 18 and 25… Ranked 13 th in the NJAC in scoring; fifth in rebounding; seventh in field goal percentage and ninth in steals… Finished fourth all-time in field goal percentage (.452) and second in free-throw percentage (.808)… Had 16 games with 10 or more points, 17 games with 10 or more boards and nine double-doubles… Had 14 points and seven rebounds in the season-opener versus Sewanee at the Emory Tip-Off Tournament on November 16… Had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds versus three steals against Emory in the Tip-Off Championship Game on November 17… Had 11 points and 13 rebounds against Union in a 74-71 win in the Red Hawk / Pioneer Classic on November 25… Had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds at Richard Stockton on December 8… Scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds versus Wesleyan on December 29… Had nine points and 14 rebounds along with three assists in Montclair’s 69-66 win over William Paterson on January 16… Grabbed 16 rebounds at New Jersey City on January 23… Had 12 points and 13 rebounds in Montclair’s 74-48 win over Ramapo on January 30… Had 16 points, nine rebounds and three steals in a 67-63 win versus Rowan on February 9… Scored 22 points and added eight rebounds in the Red Hawks’ 77-74 overtime win over Stevens on February 15… Had 18 points and 12 rebounds in a 61-49 win over New Jersey City on February 20… Scored 12 points and grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds against Rowan in the opening round of the NJAC Tournament on February 25… Had 18 points and 11 rebounds, including the 1,000 th of her career in MSU’s 61-40 win over Mt. St. Vincent in the opening round of the ECAC Metro Tournament on March 5… Posted 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 74-65 win over FDU-Florham in the semifinals of the ECAC Tournament on March 8… Had six points, nine rebounds and two steals points versus Stevens in the ECAC Metro Tournament Championship Game on March 9.

in assists... Recorded two double-doubles, 10 games of 10-plus rebounds and
nine games in double-digit points... Had eight points and grabbed 17 rebounds
in MSU’ 75-62 loss to nationally-ranked Scranton in the Resler Tournament at
University of Rochester on November 17... Posted a double-double with 19
points and 13 rebounds along with four assists as MSU downed Farmingdale
State 78-58 on December 12... had 10 points and nine rebounds in each game
as MSU posted wins over New Jersey Cityand Ramapo on January 13 and 17...
Registered a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds against Kean
University of January 20... Had 11 points and eight rebounds as MSU knocked
off William Paterson, 72-61 on January 31... Recorded 12 points and eight
rebounds as MSU downed Farmingdale, 85-70 in the ECAC Championship
Game on March 3.
2005-06 SEASON: Played in all 28 games with 27 starts…Named NJAC Second Team... Named NJAC Player of the Week (1/23/06) after averaging 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week of conference play for the Red Hawks which propelled MSU into a first place tie in the league standings…T allied a double-double 16 points and 13 rebounds in a 72-53 victory over Kean on January 18 th…Notched a season-high 17 points and seven rebounds in a 63-57 win against Rowan on January 21 st… Awarded All-NJAC Second Team and ranked fifth in the NJAC in rebounding and second in field goal percentage (.505) …Ranked 70 th in the NCAA in rebounds per game(9.5)…Led the team in rebounds (265), steals (52), and free-throw percentage (.804)…Second on the team in scoring with 216 points… P osted five double-doubles and pulled down 10-plus rebounds in a game 12 times, including a career-best 24 against Farmingdale on December 12 th … Contributed 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals to help MSU knock off no.18 Richard Stockton, 58-56…Led the team with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the 57-47 win over Hunter College on January 30 th… F inished with seven points and nine rebounds in the 57-45 ECAC win over Staten Island on March 3 rd
2004-05 SEASON: Started all 27 games at guard…Named NJAC Rookie of the Week…Posted her first career double-double against Chowan College on December 17th, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and six steals…Scored a season-high 21 points in an overtime win against Ramapo College on February 2nd…Was 11 for 12 (.917) from the free-throw line that day and finished with a double-double, accumulating 12 rebounds…Recorded two other double-doubles against Rowan University on January 10th finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and against Kean University on January 19th ending with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Bio: Morris
Knolls’ all-time leading rebounder and second-leading scorer,
Garrabrant was a First-Team All-Conference, Second-Team All-Area
and Top 15 All-County last season while also being named to
the All-Tournament Team for the Morris County Tournament.
A two-time All-Conference and All-Area selection, Garrabrant
also played soccer where she was a four-time First-Team All-State
selection and helped Morris Knolls to the 2002 NJSIAA Group
III Sectional Championship and runner-finish in the state
finals. Garrabrant also earned All-Area honorable mention
status in outdoor track in helping Morris Knolls to the Group
III state sectional title. |
