MONTCLAIR STATE DOWNS FARMINGDALE RAMS IN CONFERENCE OPENER, 19-4

Montclair, NJ (3/31/08) – Sophomore midfielder Jamie Hudacko (Montville, NJ / Montville) notched four goals and two assists to help the Red Hawks upend the Farmingdale State Rams 19-4 in tonight’s Skyline conference opener.

Sophomore Lauren Adams (Jackson, NJ / Jackson Memorial) senior Bethany Blaine (Moorestown, NJ / Moorestown), and Kayla Henderson (Landing, NJ / Roxbury) each contributed three goals apiece as the Red Hawks (2-4), defeated their conference opponent.

Freshman pair Alecia Fuschetto (Melville, NY / Hills East) and Justine Rothar (Levittown, NY / Divison Ave.) each scored two goals for the Rams. Jaclyn Messina (Smithtown, NY / Smithtown) had two ground balls.

Junior Marykate DiBenedetto (Cinnaminson, NJ / Cinnaminson) contributed four assists and four groundballs and midfielder Jennifer Tanis (Oak Ridge, NJ / Jefferson Twp) had five assists.

Freshman goalkeeper Talia Katz (Lower Merion, PA / Lower Merion) finished with four saves for the Red Hawks. Farmingdale’s goalie Janine Forman (North Massapequa, NY / Plainedge) made 14 saves.

Montclair State returns to action on Wednesday, April 2nd as they travel to Throgs Neck, NY with a 7:00 pm matchup versus SUNY Maritime at Reinhart Field.
