TANIS NAMED SKYLINE CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Montclair, NJ (4/14/08) – Senior midfielder Jennifer Tanis (Oak Ridge, NJ / Jefferson) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Tanis becomes the second different Red Hawk to be honored this season.

Tanis helped Montclair State University improve to 3-0 in Skyline Conference play with a 21-9 win over Kean University. Tanis recorded four goals, three assists and three caused turnovers. Against No. 3 ranked and defending national champion Franklin & Marshall, she added a goal, an assist, a ground ball, two draw controls and a caused turnover.

Tanis ranks second in the conference with 1.4 assists per game.
