Introduction

Welcome

Welcome to the online course "Web Search, Evaluation and Citation." My name is Joe Russo and I am the Curriculum Resource Coordinator for the The ADP Center for Teacher Preparation and Learning Technologies at Montclair State University.

This course is designed to help develop your information literacy skills. While, it introduces a variety of methods to search, evaluate and cite web material, it is by no means a complete guide. Hopefully it will introduce you to, and make you comfortable with your information literacy skills, allowing you to explore and contribute new ideas to this forum.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions, questions and comments, so that this course can continue to evolve as we all work to make it better.

For this course you will need access to the internet and have some experience with word processing. I hope that this proves to be a fulfilling learning experience and that you enjoy yourself as you explore the world wide web.
