Web Directories

Web Directories

Web Directories are created by professional web surfers assigned to one or more subjects or topics. The web sites included usually meet minimum criteria, but are not usually analyzed by an expert. They are larger and include more resources then a subject guide, but do not cover as much as a search engine. They are a good option when a subject guide is too specific or you do not know enough about a topic to enter information into a search engine.

Both Subject Guides and Directories allow you to drill-down for information.
