MSU Faculty / Staff Anuual Campaign
The MSU Faculty/Staff Annual Campaign is building momentum each year, as University employees both past and present continue to recognize the importance of their support for building a stronger future for Montclair State. The theme of this year’s campaign is “Our Gifts at Work.” Both current and retired employees and faculty are being solicited for their support to help MSU maintain its tradition of excellence. Along with other members of the MSU family – including senior management and the board of trustees – faculty and staff throughout the University are making their Campaign gifts and pledges.
The second annual Faculty-Staff Pledge Day took place in early October. Area businesses generously donated prizes to encourage higher employee donor participation. Participating organizations included: The Montclair Art Museum, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Just Kidding Around, Luna Stage, 12 Miles West Theatre Company, Charlie Brown’s, Six Brothers Diner, Rascals Comedy Club, the New York Giants, and the New Jersey Nets, among others.
Donors have the flexibility of either making an unrestricted gift to the area of greatest need or earmarking their support to a specific program, department, or area, such as scholarships or the library. Employees also have the option of making their gift through payroll deduction, enabling them to make larger gifts that they can pay for throughout the course of The Campaign for the Second Century. In addition, employees can take advantage of their spouse’s matching gift program, as well as planned or estate gifts to the University.
This broad support from the entire University family is a team effort that is making a strong contribution to the success of Montclair State University and The Campaign for the Second Century.
