We encourage you to e-mail the office with any questions or concerns at financialaid@montclair.edu. You will receive a response to your message within 3 business days. Many frequently requested forms are available online either for electronic submission or for download.

Location:

Our office is located in Room 208 on the 2nd floor of College Hall. Refer to the campus map for the location of College Hall.

Office Hours:

Regular Hours (September-May): Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday and Thursday until 7:00 p.m. when classes are in session. Summer Hours (June 5th-August 18th): Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. and closed on Fridays. If you need to see a counselor, please make an appointment several days in advance. Counselors are available for appointments from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Monday and Thursday evenings 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 when the office is open.

In addition, please be aware that this office is bound by the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), a law designed to protect students' privacy. To this end, we will ask for two forms of  identification, including one photo ID, before releasing student-specific information to students.

Telephone Extensions:

You may reach the Office of Student Financial Aid during normal business hours at (973) 655-4461. The office maintains a maximum response time of 3 business days for telephone inquiries. Due to FERPA, we cannot provide student-specific information over the phone. Only general inquiries can be answered.
