Faculty Biography: Dennis Gottschalk

Dennis Gottschalk is an award winning digital photographer. Photography has been a life-long passion for him. He has been a member of the Essex County Camera Club and the Livingston Camera Club, member clubs of the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs, serving as Print Competition Chairman at the Livingston club for many years. He was one of the first members to "go digital" before digital cameras were widely available for the consumer market. He began by scanning printed film photographs and manipulating them with Adobe Photoshop, Jasc (now Corel) Paint Shop Pro and other software. He has also done professional photo restoration. Dennis is currently completing the Teacher Certification program at Montclair State University.
