Government Relations

The Office of Government Relations provides strategic direction and leadership in promoting relations within State & Federal government on behalf of the University. Giving direct support to the President to advance the University’s objectives and planning initiatives, the Office of Government Relations also:

  • plays a role in policy development and planning processes;
  • monitors legislation and regulations that pertain to higher education;
  • identifies federal and state fiscal resources for which the University may be eligible for funding, and prepares the appropriate documents necessary to secure such funding and;
  • assists with coordinating any advocacy or grassroots engagement.
