Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce that the processing
of I-9 Forms, required by federal law to verify the identity and
eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States, will be
completed by staff in Human Resources for all new hires, including
full-time, part-time, and temporary employees, adjunct faculty, and
student workers, effective Monday, April 15, 2013.
This change will
require all new hires to:
- Report to the offices of Human Resources
(CO-316) prior to their first day of work with the University. When
directing a new hire to Human Resources to complete an I-9 Form please
provide them with a copy of the List of Acceptable Documents (or see Media Set in this news item in the right column for link) so
that they may select which documents to present to Human Resources to
complete their I-9.

Human Resources staff will be available to:
Assist new hires daily from 9 to 10:30 am, and from 2 to 3:30 pm.
