
The Office of Employee Relations and Compensation is located in the Division of Human Resources, 316 College Hall.
The mission of the Office of Employee Relations is to value and acknowledge each and every University employee as someone who contributes to the achievement of the University’s mission. Employee/employer issues are resolved in a climate of respect through guidance and counseling, and the consistent application of University policy and other negotiated terms and conditions of employment. Each and every employee served by the Office of Employee Relations leaves with the experience of having been treated fairly and equitably. To achieve this mission the Office of Employee Relations & Compensation participates in the administration of the University’s employee relations program in the areas of negotiations, contract administration, dispute resolution, employee relations communications, and the adjunct faculty appointment process.
The Office of Employee Relations & Compensation is also responsible for overseeing the management and administration of programs, policies, and procedures related to compensation, administered by the Office of Payroll Services, and employee benefits, administered by the Office of Employee Benefits. These include, but are not limited to, payroll, timekeeping, employment verification, and health, life, disability, and unemployment insurance. The Payroll and Benefits offices are directed by the Director of Employee Services for Benefits and Payroll who is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations.
