David Kennedy of Educational Foundations recently gave a talk at the Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County about the late eminent physicist David Bohn and the notion of dialogue he developed.

Naomi Liebler of English shared her insights about The Taming of the Shrew with students in ASPIRE, an Alternative School Program in Livingston. Her talk was made possible through the district's partnership with Montclair State's New Jersey Network for Educational Renewal.

John Luttropp of Art and Design, along with his studio, Thought (www.aconceptisabrick.com), have been chosen as one of six finalists to create art work for the township of Montclair's new Crescent Parking Deck. Three artists will be selected this month to complete permanent works for the new structure, which is scheduled to open in the fall. Thought is a multidisciplinary design studio established last August by Luttropp and Montclair State graduates Joe Magliaro and Marshall Cohen.

Thomas Rossi of Communication Sciences and Disorders has been awarded a fellowship by the American College of Dentists. Rossi, an adjunct professor, is a delegate with the New Jersey Dental Association and serves on its Council on Dental Education.

Shahla Wunderlich of Human Ecology recently gave a seminar, "Mothers and Children: Nutritional Status and Behavior," at the USDA Food and Nutrition office in Alexandria, Va.
