Bookstore Trivia Contest

|
We received several correct answers to the Jan. 21 Trivia Contest question: Tell us who said the following and in what newspaper it originally appeared: "One of the things that we know from working with college students and from research is that with students who succeed, there is a higher percentage of parental involvement in terms of support for those students." The correct answer is Karen Pennington, vice president for Student Development and Campus Life, in The Star-Ledger. The winning entry, chosen by random drawing, was submitted by Almida Hernandez of the New Student Experience. Almida will receive a $20 gift certificate to the University Bookstore. Congratulations! Here's this week's question: Name the four officers of the President's Commission on Affirmative Action and their titles. The winning entry will be chosen randomly from among all the correct answers submitted. The answer, or a link to the answer, appears somewhere in this issue of INSIGHT Online. The winner will receieve a $20 gift certificate to the University Bookstore. Send answers to Bill Valladares by Wednesday, Feb. 13. Please put Trivia Contest in the subject line. Good luck! |
