President Susan A. Cole has been named to the Video Lottery Study Commission established last week by Gov. James E. McGreevey. The charge of the commission is to "examine the legal, economic and policy issues surrounding video lotteries and provide a thorough and exhaustive review of its implications in the state." The commission, which will be chaired by former Gov. Brendan T. Byrne, has been asked to issue a report within 90 days. Robert Gilbert of Health Professions, Physical Education, Recreation and Leisure Studies spoke about the mental secrets of the world's greatest athletes at a program for female athletes hosted by the Sports Medicine Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Shahla Wunderlich of Human Ecology received $75,000 from the Hudson County Office on Aging for a program that provides nutrition support services and education for lower economic senior citizens in Hudson County.
