President Susan A. Cole's meeting with the campus community will be held Wednesday, April 21, at 3 p.m. in the Student Center, Ballrooms. Training and Technology is offering two mini summer workshops: Multimedia
Magic I and Multimedia Magic II, May 24 through June 3. The workshops
will demonstrate various ways technology can integrate with teaching and
learning strategies. For more information and to register, go to
http://frontpage.montclair.edu/mmagic/index.html. Registration will
be limited to 10 participants. George Zilbergeld of Political Science will give a talk and sign copies of his book, A Reader for the Politically Incorrect, on Tuesday, April 20, at 4 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble in Clifton. There's an easy way find out when the Board of Trustees took action on an item and what that action was through a new feature on the BOT Web site. Click on "Actions Index" under "Links" on the left to get to a page where you can search by keyword, category, meeting date, meeting year or action number. The search results will provide a list of links to a PDF form of the minutes for the meeting(s) in which the requested action(s) are referenced. Click on the link(s) to the desired minutes. Within the minutes document, you can search using the binoculars icon or "Control F." The Actions Index can be used only for items that have been assigned an action number. To search for an information or discussion item, use the same page to request the minutes from any meeting and then search within the document. The Payroll Department no longer prints and distributes direct deposit
stubs. Employees can check their direct deposit information and review
pay stubs online through Web for Employees. Stubs also can be printed.
The system is secure and easy to use. The URL is https://wfs.montclair.edu/ehomepg.htm.
Click on Quick Links and scroll to the bottom of the list to Web for Employees.
Click "Enter Employee Self-Service" and enter your Social Security
Number and your PIN, which is your birth date in mmddyy format. (If you
have changed your PIN to another six-digit number, use that instead.) |
