Week of April 19: "Losing Mary: Living and Dying with Breast Cancer." The story of Mary Polanco, her struggle to live a normal life, raise her children and finish her college degree, while losing her job, her home and her battle against breast cancer. Week of April 26: "Tax Relief for the Super Rich." How do we distribute the burden of taxes in the U.S.? Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times journalist David Cay Johnston, author of Perfectly Legal, describes his findings after nine years of research: how the poor and middle class are being squeezed to subsidize the rich, giving a tax-free ride to the "donor class" who support politicians.
