Cole updated members of the campus community on several issues of interest, highlighting the University's achievements during the past year and calling upon all members of the Montclair State community to work together during another year of budget cutbacks from the state. Montclair State quarterback Ed Collins signs with NY Giants

Montclair State University quarterback Ed Collins of Union, N.J. has signed a free-agent contract with the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Collins is the 19th player in MSU history to sign a contract with an NFL team and the second player to ink a contract with the Giants. (Full Story and Photo)

Assemblywoman Heck tells students how to accomplish great things
Assemblywoman Rose Heck (R-Dist. 38) sees herself as "a natural-born bossy person," a trait she claims led to her success in politics. "I will apologize for being pushy, but I won't stop because it’s who I am," Heck told students last month when she presented "Women Entering the World of Politics," sponsored by the Women's Center.
