The other schools and colleges will hold individual convocations throughout the week. (Click here for the schedule of convocations.)

Meet this year's student speakers
Dua Elayan Obeidallah is on a quest for courage. She doesn't jump out of planes or ski down mountain peeks at breakneck speed. Obeidallah's fears may sound mundane to some, and to others not even legitimate, but to her they are real and she is conquering them one at a time. That may explain why she accepted the challenge of being this year's senior speaker. (Full Story)

"You like me, you really like me!" The 23-year-old graduate student in biology was selected from among five finalists to present this year's graduate commencement address. (Full Story)

Graduation bittersweet with loss of Jesse Young
Jesse Young's office on the second floor of College Hall was somewhat of a library. His time as a student followed by 34 years of service to the University generated a collection of information that would rival any historian's.
