Schools/colleges celebrate with
individual convocations

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each school and college will hold a convocation to honor its graduates:

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences will hold two pre-commencement convocations in Memorial Auditorium. A convocation for undergraduate and graduate students graduating from Anthropology, Classics and General Humanities, Communication Sciences and Disorders, English, French, German and Russian, History, Justice Studies, Legal Studies, Linguistics, Philosophy and Religion, and Spanish and Italian will be held Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. A second convocation for students graduating from Political Science, Psychology, Social Sciences (MA), Sociology, and Women's Studies will take place on Wednesday, May 7, at 7 p.m.

The College of Education and Human Services will hold its convocation on Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. in the Student Center, Ballroom A. Laurie Bisconti, who received the Teacher of the Year Award from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, will be the guest speaker. Bisconti earned her teacher certification at Montclair State in 1998.

The College of Science and Mathematics convocation will be held Wednesday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms.

The School of Business convocation will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in Memorial Auditorium.

The School of the Arts celebrated Friday, May 2, in Memorial Auditorium.
