The Office of Communications and Marketing launched an updated version of the Montclair State Web site as part of a greater initiative to improve the quality and sophistication of the University's external communication vehicles. The redesigned main site includes new features/functions such as increased size of the overall home page, additional color, contrast and animation to give the page dimension, an improved index listing in the left column, the addition of each college and school in the left index column for faster access, and cleaner, crisper listing of news, features and major events. Shuttle bus vehicles are now permitted to travel down Webster Road. Personal vehicles will continue to be able to travel up Webster Road only. This is a two-way road for MSU buses only. The traffic pattern change will enable the shuttle buses to more quickly and efficiently accommodate the numerous bus routes that serve the campus population. The University reached a multi-year agreement last year with the CWA and AFT Local 1904 regarding modified work schedules for the summer months and the fall holidays. The agreement with Local 1904 generally provides for unit professionals and librarians to work an extended/four-day work week schedule during the months of June, July and August.  The Agreement with the CWA provides the same but applies to personnel in the bargaining unit who are assigned a 35-hour work week. The dates include the Fridays in the weeks beginning June 6, 13, 20 and 27; July 11, 18 and 25; August 1, 8, 15 and 22. This schedule is not in effect during the week that includes the July 4 holiday.  All personnel will follow usual work schedules during this week.
