Members of the Montclair State University Band had their bags packed and were ready to go last Thursday as they waited for the bus to take them to the airport for their trip to Russia. For many of these students, this will be their first trip overseas. The band is scheduled to give several performances, including one at Tchiakovsky Concert Hall.

TheatreFest stars will light up the stage

When you get out the calendar to make plans for the summer, don't forget write in the dates for this year's TheatreFest productions. This season will be particularly exciting as Montclair State students will play all the non-equity roles, rubbing elbows with celebrities such as Susan Lucci, Kim Zimmer, Melba Moore and David Garrison. Student, at 68, is determined to earn degree
It's been 50 years since Adrienne Stewart was a freshman at New York University, aspiring to become a teacher and make a difference in the lives of young people. Personal and financial obstacles, however, thwarted her plans, forcing her to drop out of school with just 50 credits toward her degree. Now, at age 68, Stewart is determined to finish what she started more than half a century ago. Campus is haven of activities for kids in the summer
Those who think Montclair State slows down during the summer probably aren't aware that school-age children flock to campus between May and September to participate in an array of fun, educational programs that challenge them mentally, physically and artistically. (Full Story)
