Welcome to a new academic year. It
was a busy and exciting summer on campus. Ground was broken on the
new Childrens Center (click here
for photos); construction on the New Academic Building continues
to progress and conceptual plans are underway for a new Student
Recreation Center. Offices for full-time and adjunct faculty members
were created in Dickson and Finley halls; chemistry teaching laboratories
were renovated and modernized, as was the nutrition laboratory;
the floors in the dance and rehearsal studios were replaced; structural
and cosmetic renovations were made to Bohn Hall; and the Student
Center's steps and the patio area were rebuilt. And these are just
a few of the projects that took place over the summer months.
INSIGHT Online will continue to keep you connected with
University happenings. A new issue will be available the first week
of every month, providing you with news and features about the people
