Three Montclair State University women police officers were honored for Women's Equality Day by The Women's Rights Information Center in Englewood on Aug. 18.

Nominated by Police Chief Paul Cell and Esmilda Abreu, director of the Women’s Center, the officers were among 18 other female officers and the first MSU employees to be honored by the Women's Right's Information Center. They received a certificate from both The Women's Right's Information Center and Bergen County Executive Dennis Mcnerney's office.
