President Susan A. Cole has been appointed by Gov. James McGreevey to serve on the Property Tax Convention Task Force. Fifteen people were named to the panel, which will recommend how a state constitutional convention on property tax reform should be set up.
Freyda Lazarus of the Center for Community-Based Learning co-authored a chapter on "Administering a Cooperative Education Program" in the recently released International Handbook for Cooperative Education published by the World Association for Cooperative Education, Boston, Mass. The handbook contains contributions from 52 authors and leading researchers worldwide and is intended to become a major resource for those interested in the practice and research into work-integrated learning. This year the handbook will be translated into Japanese.
