Chief Judge Emeritus to Present Coccia Institute Lecture

In celebration of Italian Heritage Month, as well as its second anniversary, the Joseph and Elda Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America will present the Honorable Edward D. Re, as a guest lecturer today at 3 p.m., in Dickson Hall's Brantl Auditorium. His talk on Roman law will be followed by a question-and-answer session and reception.

"Judge Re's visit to our campus will leave an indelible mark on faculty and students from a number of disciplines," said Cav. Joseph Coccia, Institute founder. "It is a wonderful example of the Institute’s mission to prepare students to be decision-makers, leaders and entrepreneurs."

Re is Chief Judge Emeritus of the U.S. Court of International Trade as well as Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus at St. John’s University School of Law.
