GO RED HAWKS!

Sophomore midfielder Kelly Dutko was chosen as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 12. In non-conference action, Dutko tallied five points in two matches against National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II competition in central Florida. She tallied one assist in the Red Hawks' 3-1 defeat at Florida Southern on Oct. 8, and then wrapped up the week with two goals, including the game-winner in Montclair's 4-1 victory over St. Leo
University on Oct. 11.

Football also earned a pair of NJAC accolades last week, as running back Eugene Vick and punter Bill Christopher were named Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Week, respectively. Vick is the first Red Hawk to win NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors this year after rushing for a career-high 249 yards on 31 carries in Montclair State's 9-0 victory over NJAC rival Kean on Oct. 11 during Montclair State's Homecoming. Christopher averaged 36.8 yards per punt for the Red Hawks against Kean, and totaled nine punts on the day for 331 yards.
