Ed Buscavage of Networks and Telecommunications
(pictured above on left) has been an avid fisher for 50 years.
He recently took Doug Cooper (third from left) of Architectural
and Engineering Services and Cooper's son, Joshua, 9, on a fishing
excursion where they caught a 60-pound tuna at the Hudson Canyon,
about 90 miles off the New Jersey coast. Also pictured, from left,
are Buscavage's son Chris and boat mate Rick.
"I have been fishing 50 years," Buscavage
said. "My son has been catching tuna this size since he was
5 years old."
At right, Buscavage stands by a 220-pound tuna.
"This was not my biggest fish, but it was my son's,"
he said. "I caught one that was 289 pounds."
Buscavage, who used to run his own charter boat,
still has his captain's license.
