Six people correctly guessed the answer to the Oct. 8 trivia question: Name three toxic heavy metals that can be detected in water using the College of Science and Mathematics' new Inductively Coupled Plasma machine. Any three of the following are correct: lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, selenium, iron, copper or aluminum. The winner, chosen by random drawing, is Lynore Sinisi of Counseling, Human Development and Educational Leadership. Sinisi will receive a $20 gift certificate to the University Bookstore. For a $20 gift certificate, correctly guess the answer to this week's question: What is the name of the artist who created "Ophiuchus: The Serpent Bearer," which stands near Sprague Library, and during what months does the sun cast a shadow that reveals the image? The winner's name will be drawn from among the correct answers. Send your answers to Bill Valladares at valladaresw@mail.montclair.edu by Wednesday, Oct. 31. Please put Trivia Contest in the subject line. Good luck! Hint: The answer can be found in this issue of INSIGHT Online. |
