Students and staff get back to working out now that the Fitness Center has reopened after being closed for two weeks to replace the old carpeting with a new Everlast floor in the 3,500-square-foot Center. The place to go for educational resources
There is a space in the basement of Chapin Hall where a variety of resources for teachers can be found at every turn. The Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) is like a one-stop shopping center for learning tools, educational media and the latest technological aids for professors and students studying to become teachers.(Full Story and Photo)

GA Program helps students financially and educationally
After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology, Vanessa Amara wanted to continue her education at the post baccalaureate level, but worried about how to pay for it. The University relieved Amara's financial worries by awarding her a graduate assistantship, and now she’s a first-semester graduate student working toward a master's degree in educational psychology.

The Theatre and Dance Series will continue its season with Peter Glenville’s English translation of Georges Feydeau and Maurice Desvallieres’ "Hotel Paradiso, "and President Susan A. Cole invites faculty and staff to be her guests at the Nov. 16 performance at 8 p.m. (Full Story)

Recreation students plant trees for Sept. 11 victims
Students in Ben Schaffer's recreation facilities and recreation leadership classes and members of the Recreation Club recently planted more than 40 white pine seedlings in front of Bohn Hall in memory of those lost in the Sept. 11 attack on the Twin Towers. (Full Story and Photos)
