Professor examines impact of forest fires on
environment
The
California fires might be the recent hot topic, but Gregory Pope
of Earth and Environmental Studies has been talking about forest
fires for the past two years. It was during a field trip to Colorado
that Pope thought about studying the long-term effect of fires on

Toney is conducting research he hopes will result in inhibitors
that target antibiotic resistance. His research recently received
a boost when Merck Institute of Science Education donated an Applied
Biosystems DNA Sequencer to the College of Science and Mathematics

Former
athletes men's basketball point guard Nick Matarazzo, softball All-American
Linda Giarrusso, offensive lineman Bobby Franks and two-time regional
All-American Gus Moramarco are the newest inductees into the Montclair
State University Athletic Hall of Fame at a ceremony Nov. 13 at

of Business dedicates Khubani Room
A
ceremony marking the dedication of the A.J. and Poonam Khubani Room
will he held today, Monday, Nov. 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Partridge
Hall, Room 113. The room is being dedicated in the name of alumnus
A.J. Khubani, '84, and his wife, Poonam, who gifted money for the
