- A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, to honor the late Lucille Weistuch of Early Childhood and Elementary Education. The service will take place in McEachern Recital Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. Those wishing to attend should call Selena at 973-655-5407. Contributions in honor of Lucille can be made to the Montclair State University Children's Center through the University Foundation.

- The Muslim Student Association will hold "Iftaar" (traditional meal) in celebration of Ramadan every weekday at 4:50 p.m. through Dec. 4 in the Student Center, Room 112F. All are welcome.

- The University Holiday Party will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms.

- Several Fulbright and Distinguished Visting Scholars will be at Montclair State for the spring semester. Anyone interested in housing international scholars for the semester should call Marina Cunningham at 973-655-7566 or Wendy Gilbert Simon at 973-655-4185. Wanted are rooms to rent, preferably with a private bath, and use of kitchen, or furnished apartments or homes.

- The University Art Gallery's new gift shop will begin selling unique arts and crafts after Thanksgiving. The shop also is seeking arts and crafts and handmade items to be sold. For more information, call 973-655-5113.

- Help name the new parking garage. Send your suggestions via e-mail or inter-office mail to Lise Greene of the President's Office no later than today.

- The fall 2002 admission reports are available on the Institutional Research Web site. The url is http://www.montclair.edu/pages/vpbpit/admissions.htm.

- The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra is offering Montclair State students the opportunity to see performances for just $5 per ticket. Performances take place at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark and six other locations throughout the state. Information is available at www.njsymphony.org.
