Dec. 14-15: The American Repertory Ballet's "The Nutcracker." A lavish new production of this holiday favorite. 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14; 1 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15, Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $35, $30 and $25.

Jan. 26: "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" by the Omaha Theater Company for Young People. Adapted from Beverly Cleary's classic novel about Ralph the Mouse and his dream come true. Once a mouse can ride a motorcycle, anything can happen. For ages 7-12. 3 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $15.

New commissioned ballets by women choreographers including Amy Seiwert's "Monopoly," a brash look at the changing dymanics of traditional male/female relationships in dance and society as a whole. 3:30 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. March 5: Margaret and Herman Sokol Distinguished Scientist Lecture by Brian Greene, physicist, string theorist and author of The Elegant Universe.
