Getting Started with Grant Opportunities
Faculty Research Profile:
In an effort to provide customized grant opportunity searches, ORSP is collecting information on specific research interests of University faculty members. Please complete a Faculty Research Profile form and submit it to ORSP via fax at ext. 5150 or email to ellingtonm@mail.montclair.edu. Search Engines for External Funding Sources:
Infoed (http://www.infoed.org/home/officemenu.asp) is a subscription service that features the SPIN search engine. SPIN searches federal, state, and private funding sources. ORSP encourages all faculty to create a profile of their research interests on this website. Funding opportunities will then be delivered directly to your email account. Call ORSP to register. The process takes no more than 10 minutes.
Grants.gov (http://grants.gov/) was created in 2003 as a comprehensive gateway for all federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov (http://grants.gov/) link allows for email delivery of funding opportunities or immediate database searches.
