ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Graduation Honors

Undergraduate students graduating with a minimum of 51 undergraduate credits at Montclair State University with 48 credits in courses which contribute to the GPA, receive Honors as follows:

ACADEMIC HONORS ARE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:
(Effective August 2012)

Average of 3.700 - 3.799 cum laude
Average of 3.800 - 3.899 magna cum laude
Average of 3.900 - 4.000 summa cum laude
