Audience to give thumbs up or down
For anyone with aspirations of becoming a theater critic, the annual TheatreFest
Regional Playwriting Contest offers the chance for audience members to voice their opinions.
Seven judges will decide on three finalists. All three plays will then be read on stage at 7 p.m. March 10, and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. March 11 in Memorial Auditorium.

Gigliotti ready for challenges of deanship
Richard Gigliotti accepted the job of dean of Humanities and Social Sciences on a Tuesday, put his home in Ohio up for sale on Wednesday and sold it Saturday afternoon. "I take that as a clear indication that I should be at Montclair State," he said, laughing.

France honors Yogi Berra for D-Day service
Yogi Berra recently was awarded the French Medale de Jubile for his service in the U.S. Navy during the D-day invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944. France continues to honor former American soldiers who helped free them from occupation by Nazi Germany. Full Story
