sister city relationship

President Susan A. Cole (left) joins Alfred Stingl (center), lord mayor of Graz, Austria, and Juliana Belcsak, chair of Overseas Neighbors in Montclair, in planting a tree on the University campus in honor of the 50-year relationship between sister cities Graz and Montclair. "Montclair State is proud of the long tradition of cooperation with our friends from Graz," Cole said. "These sister city programs are helpful in promoting educational and cultural exchanges and in international understanding and sensitivity. The tree we have planted symbolizes the strong and growing relationship that exists between our two communities. I look forward to another 50 years of our relationship."

Campers' thirst for knowledge
quenched in summer program

They also looked forward to learning the art of fencing, ice skating and the skills necessary to free the imagination in theatre and drama. (Full Story)
