University retains company to oversee parking operations
Standard Parking has been retained by the University to provide the daily
operation and management of all campus parking facilities including the
forthcoming multi-level parking structure.
During the past year, Standard Parking performed a comprehensive analysis
of the University's parking operations and presented an overall plan for
the efficient operation of all campus parking facilities.
To provide maximum control and consistency, gates, card readers, controllers,
communication hardware and system software have been replaced by Industrial
Time and Systems, Inc. All faculty and staff identification cards need
to be recoded for access into gated lots.
A copy of parking and traffic regulations for the upcoming academic year
is available by calling the Parking Office, located at 30 Normal Ave.,
at 7580.
